Ash borer takes toll on Ind. park's shade trees - chicagotribune.com
MITCHELL, Ind.— An Indiana park hit by the emerald ash borer says visitors this year may find less shade than in the past because of the infestation.
The invasive species has killed several ash trees at Spring Mill State Park this year. Park officials have cut down 50 dead ash trees, and they expect to lose many more as the ash borer spreads.
